Pilates
A total mind/body exercise that builds core strength and maintains core stability through stretching, stengthening and relaxation techniques.  The health benefits are endless:  You’ll develop stronger, leaner muscles, boost your immune system, improve posture and spinal alignment, reduce stress, relieve muscle tension and back pain, lower blood pressure, speed up metabolism and improve digestion.  Pilates is a total body sculpting and flexibility program.  Modifications are given for beginner level students.

Stability Ball
A fun, relaxing, different and challenging workout for the entire body.  It targets our core (the muscles of the abdominals, back and pelvis) but also adds a challenging balancing element to pilates-based exercises that are usually performed on a mat.  The ball will improve your posture, balance and body alignment, and will enable you to build confidence as you learn to exercise and remain stable on a movable object. For the arms and legs the ball offers resistance training exercises and also provides a variety of ways to exercise with weights. The stability ball increases body awareness.  I guarantee if you try this you'll have a BALL!
